In the field of high-temperature melt pressure measurement, precision plays a very important role! When a melt pressure sensor operates for a long time or is reinstalled at a different position, even a tiny zero drift may be "amplified" into fluctuations in product quality. The Ziasiot high-temperature melt pressure sensor has three zero-reset methods: one-key zero reset, remote short-circuit zero reset, and external magnetic zero reset, which has a maximum adjustment ratio of 30% of the full-scale output signal.
Zero Reset Methods
1- One-key zero reset
Remove the screw marked "Z" on the top of the melt pressure sensor housing. There is a button inside the hole; pressing it once will realize the automatic zero reset function. After zero reset, reinstall the screw.

2- Short-circuit zero reset
Refer to "Electrical Connections" to identify the cable cores defined for short-circuit zero reset. Short-circuit these cores for 3–5 seconds, then disconnect them to complete the zero reset. After resetting, ensure the two short-circuit zero reset wires are insulated and separated. This prevents unintended short-circuiting under pressure due to poor insulation, which could lead to inaccurate pressure measurements.

3- External magnetic zero reset
If there is a zero reset mark on the housing, use our company's dedicated magnetic pen. Align the magnet with this mark, hold it tightly against it for 3–5 seconds, then remove it to complete the zero reset.

Important Notes
Applicable Scenarios: The three zero reset methods are mainly used to calibrate zero drift that occurs after sensor installation or long-term use (when there is no pressure, the output should be zero or a preset value).
Adjustment Range Limitation: The maximum adjustment range of the zero reset operation is designed to be within 30% of the full-scale output signal. If the zero deviation is extremely large (exceeding 30%), the zero reset may not fully calibrate it. This usually indicates that the sensor may have a fault or installation issue (such as severe diaphragm overload, damage, abnormal temperature, wiring errors, etc.) and requires further inspection.
Operation Time: Make sure to perform the zero reset operation in the basis that there is no no pressure in the measuring pipeline (or when it is at a known reference pressure, usually zero pressure)!
Safety First: Please comply with relevant safety regulations before operation, especially when working clsoe to a high-temperature or high-pressure equipment. For short-circuit operations, should ensure electrical safety.
Choose your suitable zero reset methods, whatever you're pursuing the ultimate speed of "one-key zero reset", need the remote control capability of "short-circuit zero reset", or prefer the elegant convenience of "magnetic zero reset", there's always a method that seamlessly integrates into your workflow.
